Numbers One to Nine

In this section we will discuss how to write the numbers one to nine.
In preschool or in kindergarten numbers can be learn using rhymes.

“ One, two buckle by shoes;

Three, four shut the door;

Five, six pick up the stick;

Seven, eight make them straight;

Nine, ten it’s a Big fat hen.


Ha ha ha …

In the 1st grade child will learn how to write numbers using pencil and paper. The numbers are from one to nine.
If there is
one apple then write 1 , if two apples then write 2 and so on. You have to write the numbers by counting the number of apples or given object.

Example

Count the number of sticks given below :

Consider mangoes , if there is only one mango then we write just ‘mango’. But if there are more than one mango then we write mango
es . If the objects are more than one then in English we call it as plural otherwise singular.
