Skip counting by 10s

Skip counting by 10s means adding ten to previous number or jump by 10. Each number is 10 more than the previous number. if the 1st number is an odd number then the next number after adding 10 will be an odd number. And if the 1st number is an even number then the next number will be an even number.
Example: Counting by 10's
If the 1st number is 8 then next 5 numbers obtained by counting by 10's are; 8, 8 + 10 =18; 18 + 10 =28; 28 + 10 =38; 38 + 10 = 48; 48 + 10 =58
So next 5 numbers after 8 are 18,28,38,48,58.Since here the starting number is even so all the next numbers are even.

Example 1 : Find the next 3 numbers after 23 by counting it by 10's.
Solution : 1st number = 23 + 10 = 33
2nd number = 33 + 10 = 43
3rd number = 43 + 10 = 53
So next 3 numbers after 23 are : 33,43,53.0 Here you can see that as the starting number is odd so the required three numbers area also odd.BR>
Example 2 : Find the missing numbers. 15,25,____,____,____,____.
Solution : 1st number is 15 and next number is 25 so from this we can see that its counting by 10's
. That means after adding 10 to previous number we will get the next number. So,
1st missing number = 25 + 10 =35
2nd missing number = 35 + 10 = 45
3rd missing number = 45 + 10 = 55
4th missing number = 55 + 10 = 65
So the number are 15,25,35,45,55,65.

Example 3 : Complete the following pattern.
12,22,32,____,____,____
Solution : In 12,22 and 32 the difference of 10. That means by adding 10 we get a next number. So, 1st missing number is 32 + 10 = 42, 2nd missing number is 42 + 10 =52 and 3rd missing number is 52 + 10 = 62. Series is 12,22,32,42,52,62.
