About ask-math

My name is Mrs.Anita Govilkar telling you the journey about ask-math. Since January 2006,I have been teaching Math Online to KS2 & KS3 of UK & Grade 5 to 10 - US students .I also conduct Personal & Group Coaching from grade 1 to 10th (Both Central board – CBSE & ICSE syllabus) specializing in Mathematics - Algebra & Geometry, Science – Physics / Chemistry / Biology since 1993 till date.
Our Philosophy
Success is not an accident; it is the result of intelligent effort. Teaching is my passion, and my experience as a teacher has been beautiful, emotional, and fulfilling. Today's teachers and students are partners in the process of learning. Interaction between the two serves as a catalyst for understanding and motivation for success. Mathematics is actually fun, provided one understands the logic behind the subject. Math not only increases our ability to calculate, but the principles can be applied in real life which helps with planning strategies, evaluations and analysis, all of which are essential for decision making.

In our 18 years of teaching experience, I have never taken our students for granted. They remind us that learning is never static and to be an effective educator, we must keep our knowledge up-to-date on the latest methods, techniques and theories. In this ever-changing, highly competitive world, we have to explore different possibilities and solve problems creatively. We have to be tech-savvy, comfortable with modern techniques and computer applications.I have used online media several times and our students have learned faster as a result. Over the years, I have enjoyed seeing our students outperform their own expectations. Success has brought them a great deal of confidence in their lives.
My aim is to facilitate students and help them reach their fullest potential and ultimately become mature self-learners.
