Numbers One to Nine

In this section we will discuss how to write the numbers one to nine.
In preschool or in kindergarten numbers can be learn using rhymes.

“ One, two buckle by shoes;

Three, four shut the door;

Five, six pick up the stick;

Seven, eight make them straight;

Nine, ten it’s a Big fat hen.


Ha ha ha …

In the 1st grade child will learn how to write numbers using pencil and paper. The numbers are from one to nine.
If there is one apple then write 1 , if two apples then write 2 and so on. You have to write the numbers by counting the number of apples or given object.

Example

Count the number of sticks given below :

Consider mangoes , if there is only one mango then we write just ‘mango’. But if there are more than one mango then we write mangoes. If the objects are more than one then in English we call it as plural otherwise singular.
